In a burst of golden light, the trio materialized into the
Orca King's Throne Room in a golden bubble.
The Orca King sat on his throne, his fist on his chin, deep in thought, surrounded by blood-stained flags depicting dolphins killing sharks.
He rose and bashed his magical staff into the ground. It radiated a dark blast of purple energy. The room darkened everywhere
but next to the golden tuna.
His voice boomed from the darkness, "I'll give you one chance. If you join me, I'll let you rule the world alongside me, shark."
The shark shook her head and took a battle stance.
"So be it."
The darkness sucked back into the Orca King's staff, and with a devastating lunge, he tore through the trio's protective shield, blasting it into tatters. Azure rose her shield just in time, but her companions were knocked back by the king's strike's sheer force.
The shark slapped the king back with her Golden Tuna, and he went flying across the throne room. His eyes bugged in surprise and he darkened the room once more. However, this time, Azure's companions were trapped in the darkness.
"You are powerful with that fish. But your friends
make you weak. Vulnerable."
The shark let her guard down and shot her Tuna's Light out to find her friends and protect them. She found them! But The Orca King had found them first. He had picked up Samantha and had a knife up to her throat.
"You may have all the power in the world, but it won't help you save the people you-"
Yemmie had snuck up behind the king, eyes glowing golden, and bleated with her divine voice. She slapped the him right in the back of the head with her ukelele. It rang like a gong, and the king's knife clattered to the floor as he flew across the room.
Samantha used her golden crayon and drew wings on her shoes and Yemmie's hooves, and they regrouped with Azure.
The king rose from the ground shakily. He raised his staff and siphoned all the room's darkness into himself, and morphed into a monstrous demon orca form.
Roaring, he smashed a gigantic shadow fist onto Azure's golden shield bubble, pressing in unrelentingly.
After several agonizing seconds, the bubble burst, and everything became dark.

Voices whispering woke Azure up. From the black void, words echoed through her mind. "You'll never be good enough."
"You should have never left home."
"Give up, quit struggling, you'll never win."
She saw a glimmer in the darkness and swam towards it.
"What's it all for anyway? Just go to sleep."
The voices sped up into a frantic pace the further she swam.
"You'll never amount to anything." "Life is wasted on you." "Just quit trying like the rest of them."
Further, and the voices became unintelligible fragments.
"No one... should have never... worthless... weak... no chance..."
Azure cut through the glimmer and saw the Orca King as a child curled in the fetal position in a space with jeering faces all around him.
The roaring negativity was deafening at this point and Azure slashed at the faces with her Golden Tuna.
"W-what? What are you doing?"
The shark kept destroying the faces around them, and the area lightened with each one.
"No, please, I'm not worth saving-"
She eventually cleared the whole area, and reached a handfin down to the young Orca King. He looked up at her, with tears in his eyes, and everything became white.

Azure was jostled awake by Samantha, who pointed at the Orca King.
"What have you done to me?!" The king's staff had broken into pieces and his shadow form was vaporizing around him. "My power-!"
The King fell to the floor, grasping at his chest. His body then unraveled into tattered pieces of cloth, and fell to the floor. A white light floated above the cloth for a moment, then flew to the heavens.
